Meaningful mission hindered by cliquey culture and low pay - Corporate Team Allara Health Employee Review

Pros

The mission is genuinely meaningful, and there are some incredibly dedicated, talented people who care deeply about improving women's healthcare. The office is also in a great location and can be a fun place to work if you enjoy being in person.

Cons

The culture was the biggest challenge for me. It felt very cliquey, and there was noticeable favoritism that made opportunities and recognition feel inconsistent. Compensation was below market for the amount of responsibility expected, and there was a lack of transparency around leadership decisions and organizational changes. I often found communication to be reactive rather than proactive, which made it difficult to feel aligned or confident in the direction of the company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and for your time with us! We're proud of our mission and the dedicated people behind it. As a lean, fast-moving startup, organizational changes are not uncommon, and startups are not the right fit for everyone. Sorry, our culture and pay did not meet your expectations. Compensation is benchmarked twice yearly based on employee performance. Best of luck!
