Pros
It's a medical system that includes several clinics, a psychiatric hospital, a rehab hospital, and 3 acute care hospitals including a busy inner city trauma center with a mission to serve all without regard to pay. Excellent pension. Management has trimmed away much of the "dead wood" and is placing Highland Hospital (the trauma center) on a path towards Magnet status. A chance to work and teach residents as they progress through their residency.
Cons
The electronic medical record by Siemens - Soarian is horrible. Not a good place for non-empathetic people.
