Pros

They buy pizza on Christmas.

Cons

Worked there for over 3 years and never got a performance review and people with less experience are allowed to replace you by just becoming friends with the executives. I think You also need to be Venezuelan to get promoted or feel you are valued there. HR is only there to give pay stubs and termination papers, no real protection for employees. The executives create a work environment where everyone is to themselves and no real collaboration between teams is encouraged. There is always the fear of being fired, even if you are a committed and skilled employee. I guess that is how they keep people glued to their desks. They also ship all development and technology job to a latin america because they save from having to hire skilled developers here in the US. Aeropost.com is a real revolving door.

Pros

A Much-Needed Change: The introduction of a new CEO and Senior Leadership team was a breath of fresh air for a company with such a long history. Aeropost was at a point where it needed new perspectives and approaches to thrive in an ever-evolving market. The leadership's arrival brought the energy and direction we had been waiting for. Modernization and Innovation: The company's age had led to some complacency, but the new leadership has injected a spirit of innovation. We've seen a greater willingness to adopt new technologies, marketing strategies, and business practices, keeping us competitive and relevant.

Cons

Slow Tech Team Growth: One of the notable drawbacks has been building the tech team. Having an agile and well-staffed tech team is critical. The slow expansion has hindered the team's ability to meet project deadlines promptly. Project Delays: The consequence of this bottleneck is evident in the form of project delays. Marketing initiatives often depend on the timely delivery of tech-related components. When the tech team is understaffed or overburdened, it significantly hampers our ability to execute marketing campaigns or implement critical tech-driven solutions promptly.
