Pros
Good work/life balance, many good helpful people. Clean work environment in a beautiful country setting away from typical manufacturing office parks.
Cons
Pay is horrible when factoring in limited vacation time, expensive health care that changes every year, zero overtime. CEO hires unqualified people who have zero management skills, usually current low pay employees that he can belittle for a few years until they quit or are "laid" off, or fired for poor performance which they have no knowledge to begin with, then moves on to the next victim who he tells customers are incredibly qualified while doing the position himself. High turnover rate that is documented as a running joke with a number given to each employee who quits or is fired. Poor performers are sometimes required to give a speech in front of all employees at the monthly pizza lunch on how to not let it happen again. No regular raises or reviews when promised. Years can go by without a raise, and when one is given it's like a slap in the face. I'm sure this will be viewed as a disgruntled employee. I wish it was, truth is I loved my job and was very good at what I did. Upper management made it impossible to thrive. 99% of former Aerocision employees will find this review on point. Current employees would be to scared to complain because of high risk of being fired for no reason which is legal in Connecticut, still CEO makes you sign a waiver against any legal action in order to collect any accrued vacation time or severance pay that might be offered. There are many other profitable manufacturing companies that don't cry poor every month that should be considered first before wasting your time here.
