Contrary to what you have posted here, and you may refer to your letter of termination emailed to you on August 23, 2017, and our in person discussion regarding our concerns on August 22, 2017. The company was unaware of your car trouble prior to confirming your start date and once we were made aware of your issues, we did not deny your request to start at a later date, the company merely offered to provide you with car service at the companies expense, as an alternative option so that you can meet your start date obligation and you agreed, Please refer to the correspondence email dated August 16, 2017. The company made good efforts to accommodate your unforeseen personal matters by allowing you to leave early and also by ordering car service which took you to and from work, so that you can meet your work obligations at the company.
Prior to your termination, we had a meeting with you to discuss what we expect from you and what we will not tolerate moving forward regarding lack of communication, attendance and ability to perform. The next day, we did not see nor hear from you until around noon.
At this company, our core values and culture are extremely important to us and although you are not satisfied with our collective decision to let you go, this decision was made in the best interest of the company and its employees.
We wish you the best of luck in all of your business endeavors and truly hope that you were able to learn from this experience.
