An Environment of Constant Unease - Corporate Recruiter AdventHealth Corporate Employee Review

Pros

Executives, directors, and, sometimes, managers are required to show respect to their direct reports.

Cons

Constant threats and intimidation tactics employed by AdventHealth's managers created an environment of constant unease. Instead of fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture, the management team seemed to thrive on instilling fear and exerting power over their employees. This approach not only eroded trust but also had a detrimental impact on employee well-being and job satisfaction. The lack of effective leadership at AdventHealth was evident in the high turnover rates and low employee morale. Talented individuals were driven away by the toxic management practices, resulting in a loss of valuable skills and expertise. It was disheartening to witness the toll this negative leadership had on dedicated employees who were passionate about their work but felt suffocated by the oppressive management style.

Pros

AdventHealth has a very welcoming, mission-driven culture with a strong focus on extending care through Christ. The campuses and office spaces are very nice, the compensation is competitive, and the community feels supportive. My early experience has been positive, organized, and encouraging.

Cons

I am still early in my time here, so I do not have many negatives yet. Like most large organizations, there is a lot to learn during onboarding, including systems, processes, and how different teams work together.
