I never realized working for a company could actually change who you are as a person, for the worse. - Anonymous employee Access Media 3 Employee Review

Pros

In my opinion, I don't think all of the reviews have been completely fair. If I am going to be fair, I have to mention there are some very hard working, great people who work for AM3. They are dedicated and have hope that the countless hours of hard work they put in will somehow help the company, be a better place. I salute these employees- (none of them are in senior management of course). They show up every day and do the best they can with a multi-system structure which is out-dated and demands manual-human intervention to complete even the simplest task. Not because the system is bad, but do you think for one minute money would be spent to update the system to make the day to day hell of these employees lives any easier. No. Instead, they are held responsible for wrong invoices, messed up account entry, among the other things, receiving nasty-disrespectful emails(ALL CAPS were my favorite) daily from both internal and external customers. In return they are not given the tools to do their jobs and then crucified for it. So I apologize to the hard workers who are stuck at AM3 or who still have hope. I wish you well and a speedy exit from your daily doom.

Cons

How can a manager manage people in their department when they have no control or input into the operating systems in place, they can not enforce process(senior management continually promises exceptions to customers) and their employee reviews were not considered in the annual increase/bonus? Personally, I never received a review. Annual increase? Annual bonus? I am still chuckling, I have to move on or could type for an hour on this topic... AM3 is an hour glass, with a quickly dissolving center. You have either been employed for 7-8 years or longer, or you are in the majority of 2 years or less. The reason: senior management(who have been there for years) have no respect for an employee unless they are part of the "lifers", the in-group. Their one-minded approach to running this company puts its hardest workers and best ideas for customer service and company growth in the closet. Having a member of senior management yell at you,'they deserve your respect because of their title', in front of HR and your boss(who is also senior management) with no repercussions says it all, since he is a "lifer" after all. It has taken me over a month to regroup and start to remove the negativity that was cast over me at AM3. I still have trust issues and will for a long time. I've spoken to others who left and they have gone through the same cleansing. This company will change who you are, make you feel insignificant, demand answers to unexplained questions, never take the blame but point a finger quickly.

Thank you for your feedback on your experiences at AM3. While they are absolutely not what I personally envision for our team, they help me continue to build more understanding about what "troubles" our team. We are a very aggressive and growing organization that is getting back to basics of driving culture from the top down. We have always had a core set of values that the company has obviously failed in educating groups of employees as you suggest. I will look further into your comments on the "in group" and "lifers", and hope to glean more info that will help me execute continued ownership and accountability standards to allow our employees to thrive and feel wanted. I personally believe that we all get what we put into our careers, and we all must own the culture of the organization. We are a very large mix of incredibly talented and smart team members that need to be heard and, at a minimum, realize that they can be heard. My commitment to AM3 has never wavered, but your input has continued to open my eyes on areas that I can help drive change that is perceived within the AM3 Family. Best of luck to you in the future. Scott
