Pros

When I first got hired this company actually cared about it’s members and making a difference, sadly it turned into just hitting kpi’s now.

Cons

I have never been at a company that had so many changes constantly and zero organizational skills. You will put all your time and energy into this company only for them to throw you away like garbage. This company is all about hitting numbers now, it’s very sad. They say they want you to use your voice but then brush everything you say under the rug. Almost every single department is burnt out and I know bc I actually care and talked to my coworkers. This company is known for adding more and more to your plate until you reach burn out. Nothing is ever enough for this company!

Pros

Working as a Patient Navigator at AbsoluteCare in Baltimore is rewarding because of the organization’s mission to improve access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. The work is meaningful and allows staff to directly support patients navigating complex health systems. Team members are generally collaborative, and there are opportunities to work with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs. There is also room to grow within your role, and employees often have the opportunity to explore or gain exposure to work happening in other departments that align with their interests, which can help broaden skills and professional development.

Cons

At times, communication and feedback from leadership can feel one-sided. Employees regularly receive performance feedback, but there are fewer structured opportunities for staff to share feedback with supervisors or leadership about workflows and support needs. Recognition for the work staff are doing could also be more consistent.
