      Pros

      You will learn a lot, particularly about retail architecture. Small (~8 people), casual atmosphere. Firm offers good benefits and salary - health, 401k, transportation. Good coworkers make a huge difference, and coworkers at the time were (most of them) awesome people.

      Cons

      Similar to the previous review - constant negative feedback does not motivate people to do better, it is toxic. It is unacceptable to be so negative and rude to your employees. Work/life balance is not respected. You will be expected to work late regularly. Also a major pet peeve of mine - management is very rude to service people (UPS, food delivery, bike messengers, etc.). As your mother should have taught you, never trust anyone who is rude to a waiter.

      Great company with stability, structure and guidance from management. I felt supported and professionally challenged. Absolutely loved my job.

      Pros

      Learn a lot and given plenty of opportunity to jump in and lead projects if interested in doing so. Nature of retail architecture allows you to see the entirety of the construction process. Decent pay, and never stuck doing just one part of a project, instead able to participate in all parts of a project's process and associated tasks. Great way to be immersed and learn.

      Cons

      Although decent pay, long hours are expected and these expectations are not always communicated clearly. Distrust and controlling management staff results in micromanagement and a stressful environment. Respect your employees bybrespecting there skills and time.
