Pros

AVI-SPL had great leadership, everyone truly cares about doing the right thing

Cons

Unfortunately, they merged with Whitlock and kept many of the Whitlock leadership team. The Whitlock management team did NOT care about the employees or their clients. Clients were extremely frustrated and disappointed letting the management team know and things were never resolved or looked into. My advise is if you are looking to either work for or do business with AVI-SPL, make certain that is falls under the local AVI-SPL management team!

Thank you for sharing your perspective. Mergers are definitely stressful times for organizations, customers, and especially team members. While we disagree with your characterization of how the leadership changes transpired, we do appreciate your concern for the overall customer experience. We do believe that the merger has allowed a lot of "best of the best" opportunities and that many of our customers are excited about the unification of two great companies and leadership teams. Pros

Regionally dominant, opportunity for growth is there. Steady work, and management seems to let onsite techs do their best without micromanaging. The service team is top-notch if you ever need to lean on them.

Cons

Benefits. they need to address benefits to help retain top-end talent. PTO and vesting schedule is a little weak. LOTS of middle management in some areas. Health prems and 401k match are also not so great
