Politics - Company is largely made up of employees that have been promoted due to time served and not skill level. Therefor upper management is full of under qualified staff that resort to playing heavy politics in the workplace. This makes the environment hostile and prepares everyone for a knife in the back from managers above you. They expect 20%-100% overtime with no bonus or compensation given. Pay based on years served, rather than work performed. Managers are spiteful if you resign.
