      Pros

      Minimal work until your team wins a bid.

      Cons

      CEO didn't know the definition of a wireframe while insisting he was an expert... made communicating about UX quite difficult. A lot of gossip and talking behind backs. No training or support as promised in the recruitment phase. Promised me remote work with minimal in office reqs at hiring and then tried to gaslight me into thinking this was not promised a few months after hiring. Could go on... Oh anywhere that has to continue telling you they support women probably do not. Be carful. Get everything in writing.

      Growth-Stage Compensation: As with many growing organizations, base salary ranges can be harder to compare directly against massive enterprise corporations.
