Pros

None at all, I lasted one day (was tempted to leave mid shift), which should say enough. Fair play to the people who have managed to make a career out of this but this is essentially slave labour.

Cons

Not a marketing position- door to door sales instead. I was led to believe that this job would be doing roadshows and business expos but not at all! Technically self employed, so no sick pay, holiday or even minimum wage 100% commission based pay- don’t hit your targets, you won’t get paid at all, NOT EVEN MINIMUM WAGE! Minimal training- which you aren’t paid for! Low staff retention Vague adverts Unresponsive in communication Limited information about the company on the internet Long hours (realistically 10am to 8pm, 6 days a week) I spoke with one of the other employees who had just been on a road trip and found out that travel and hotel expenses come out of your own pocket.

We appreciate you taking the time to submit a review. We always encourage honest feedback and are open to constructive criticism. We’re very disappointed by the comments in your review. We operate a rigorous recruitment process, ensuring we are able to thoroughly assess applicants and also provide them with knowledge and insight into what we do, where they could potentially fit in and if we are a good match. We apologise if there was any miscommunication and if you were unaware of what the role would entail. We conduct various forms of marketing campaigns, each dependent on the client and product. We offer highly competitive remuneration packages, allowing the people we work with to enjoy unlimited earning potential. However, we do accept this is not appropriate for everyone. Best of luck for the future.

Pros

You get fresh air and exercise

Cons

Knocking on doors for a job? Honestly, it was exhausting, awkward, and felt like a total waste of time. Most people were either not home or completely uninterested. I got a lot of polite "no thanks" and some very uncomfortable interactions. It felt outdated and like I was intruding on people's space. The rejection was constant, and it was hard to stay motivated. I'd definitely recommend using more modern methods to job hunt—this one just isn't worth the effort or embarrassment!
