      Pros

      It is great being around like-minded people who love aviation where we can all make a difference in promoting general aviation nationwide.

      Cons

      AOPA is putting forth a lot of effort in various areas to keep general aviation flying, but it can be frustrating that we have to keep battling with outside forces who are trying to limit general aviation activities.

      Pros

      Good benefits and they pay for your flight training.

      Cons

      Senior leadership is disconnected from the membership decline problems and offers no solutions to correct membership loss and management problems, but does attend a lot of cocktail parties and get to fly a jet around the country.
