Think carefully before applying - Registered Nurse AMITA Health Employee Review

Manager seems to enjoy making our lives difficult. The education and training is lacking. Training is basically "sink or swim" and then you are chastized for drowning. Nurse autonomy is being chipped away and we are encouraged to accept all patients even though there is a question about their appropriateness for the unit and to not question medical issues that, at any other hospital, would need to be addressed prior to accepting a patient for transfer. I do not know if these problems exist in all Amita Hospitals or units. I just know it exists on my unit.
