      Terrible Experience - Sales AM&AA Employee Review

      The owner may be brilliant in his field, but a manager of people he is not. Really had a terrible experience here. Probably, one of the worst in my career. The owners openly disagree about company direction and expectations are unclear. I was let go after preparation for an upcoming conference was coming to a close. I think management has ideals that are from the early 80's that will eventually sink this organization until it closes or changes hands.

      Interesting how someone can write this when they were hardly ever in the office. Independent contractor, worked from home, not an employee. We need to do a better job of due diligence in hiring the right person. Clearly, we didn't do a good job.

      Cons

      Due to financial situation, the computer network and phone systems are frequently down during the work day. The training is non-existent as they give you access to their CRM and tell you to sign up new members. Unfortunately, their association is in desperate need of new programming, new management and new membership benefits.

      We appreciate the feedback. In the past 8 months, membership has grown steadily due to the hiring of a member services specialist who's main objective is to make sure our members receive the best value and services for their membership dues. The staff has grown due to demand by conference attendance and the certification program.
