Pros

You can create your own income uncapped commission. Health Benefits a bit high, but they have them. You can meet great people you work WITH.

Cons

Directors, HR, MGMT all CLUELESS. They will look you dead in your face and lie to you about anything you have an issue with! They pay you a measly base pay and being a sales rep you have to CREATE your own salary by utilizing YOUR skill. If you're too good of a seller they change the commission structure to a lower payout plan & THEN lie to you about what sales went in and what you should be paid for. They have NO SYSTEM to PROPERLY track down your sales and they don't care if you get paid or not, so your checks are often WRONG & you're left to borrow against your 401K. Mgmt is afraid to address issues with upper levels to correct these problems & do for their EMPLOYEES what they want their EMPLOYEES to do for their CUSTOMERS! TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK! Products are toooooo HIGH! Dead Call Centers No incentives Boring Culture Nothing to ENCOURAGE the employee to do BETTER than yesterday! Hostile Environment No Growth Dead End Terrible Work Life (Sales) You will work every other Saturday 30 min Lunch No ethics. No Morals. A Complete Joke!

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.
