Pros
- Most people there are great to work with (this excludes 95% of execs/management) - Benefits are pretty good though employees are forced to pay for more than half so it balances out - If you like weekly team meetings that being at 5:30-6pm, this is the place for you
Cons
- NO work life balance (expectation is you work 12hrs+ a day and weekends with no extra compensation) - NO perks whatsoever - Poorly selected managers (cronyism at its finest) - Founders show no appreciation for sacrifices employees make for company and regularly renege on commitments - Terrible compensation (even for a start-up) - Tense work environment - Extremely unprofessional behaviour from execs (berating employees openly in front of others, swearing, shouting) - Understaffed dev dept. (mostly outsourced with poor results) - Have made unprofessional and disparaging remarks to rest of company about employees who are let go - Expectations are completely unreasonable given available resources
