Pros
ABODA is an employee-based company which puts everyone on the same side of money making operation. Currently, ABODA is going through a growth phase, they are expanding into new markets. This means, there are frustrations because they are asking people to expand their knowledge and abilities, I personally love this part. As soon as I'm done with one project I'm off to the new one. I'm working on few different projects to make ABODA more competitive and expand our reach.
There are three reasons I love working here: one, benefits; two, co-workers and boss; three, opportunity to grow in my career.
The benefits include 2 weeks paid off first year and 3 weeks second year and quickly going 5 weeks after 5 years and longer as you stay. ABODA full pays for health benefits for employees! That's a saving of $100 to $200 per week compared to other companies. ABODA matches up to 10% of the employee salary in their 401(k).
My co-workers and boss are wonderful people, who care about me and listen to my advice and recommendations. Being able to get along with your boss is a huge relief. We’ve all have had bosses we don't like.
The career opportunities are open if you are willing to work hard and take on the responsibility to bring new ideas to the table. I hope to be in a higher position (and pay) in 3 years.
Cons
Since they offer many benefits for employee the base-pay and annual bonus is smaller than I prefer. But I take it as a part of the larger picture.
