This company is a joke. It's like the worse kind of bait and switch. They'll lure you in with saying how the company treats its employees like family. One manager will even tell you that she'll go grocery shopping twice a month for her team (which never happened btw) and this and that. It sounds like a job made in paradise.
And then you get there and the manager and the rest of her team are petty and passive-aggressive towards you. Do something they don't like? They will send out a passive-aggressive email to the ENTIRE TEAM.
"Oh but we're a family!" PFFT. Family wouldn't call me a cripple or gimpy for having a disability. Family wouldn't give you this dumbdumb to train you and then be like "oh tough luck." Or force you to work some shifts overnight for training on a program or a market that you'll never have to deal with. You'll feel like you're walking on ice, 24/7.
The mornings are the only busy/hectic part of your day; everything else is just filler. They'll tell you to work on addresses during the "downtime," and then later will nag you for "doing them wrong," when the dumbdumb who trained you, trained you do them wrong. Point this out and they'll complain and say you're being immature for putting the blame on someone else.
If you don't answer the phone when the client calls, they'll yell at you for not answering the phone.. instead of doing their job and answering it. And heaven forbid if you have a disability. One girl who had some super of supervisor status due to her relationship with the boss called me gimpy because I needed a wheelchair once, and another called me a cripple.
Told the supervisor this work could be done from home. She laughed in my face, came up with bs excuses why it couldn't happen. Covid happened less than a month later, and we were told to work from home. We were not told ANYTHING about "productivity," or that how roles would change. Yet, for some reason, that's the bs excuse that they used to "release me" from my position.
