Pros
The company had achieved Ofsted Grade 1 status.
Cons
No training given on course programs upon joining. At interview stage, led to believe that more core programs would be available from the academy however it was limited to just 2 programs - essentially restricting the opportunity to find work placements for apprentices. There was no clear communication regarding GDPR policy on the run up to May 2018 which led to a great deal of uncertainity. Incompetence of HR staff to check the basics of new starters to the company . Having to submit monthly expense claims for any commissions earnt with the company. Constant changing of tutors (most resigned) and the lack of delivery schedules that could be provided to new apprentices joining the programs. General attitude of management was not to look at more effective ways of working - just continue with systems that were clearly inadequate.
