Pros

One of the standout things about Draper Tools is the genuine opportunity to have your voice heard. In an industry that's often fast-paced and competitive, it's refreshing to feel like your opinions and ideas truly matter. The leadership team actively listens to feedback, and it's motivating to know that they value input from everyone, regardless of your role or how long you've been with the company. The work-life balance is generally good, with flexibility in work arrangements when needed, although there are occasional periods of high pressure, which is to be expected in the industry. The benefits package is okay and the company is invested in promoting employee well-being. Overall, Draper Tools is a company where you can grow, feel supported, and be a part of shaping its future, which is not something you can say about every place in this sector.

Cons

There aren’t many downsides, but if I had to point out a couple of areas for improvement, the biggest would be the lack of comprehensive product training. With such a vast range of products, it’s understandable that this would be a huge undertaking, but more structured training would really help employees, especially newcomers, feel more confident in their roles. The other issue is that some of the internal systems feel a bit outdated, which can slow things down at times. That said, I know this is something the company is actively looking to improve, and I appreciate the steps being taken in that direction.
