Pros

DVT has the best company culture honestly unheard of. The career growth support from both your manager and Software Engineer Lead is amazing. As a junior, this is one of the best companies you can work for. Great salary, great medical aid, and a team that genuinely supports your growth.

Cons

DVT is a consulting firm, so the business model works around placing employees with clients. If you’re not on a client project which is honestly rare because they work hard to make sure everyone is placed you may end up on the bench temporarily. If someone stays on the bench for more than 6 months, there is a possibility they could be let go. But again, this is very rare and not something that happens all the time, because DVT consistently has clients and opportunities available for employees.

Pros

Working at DVT has been a truly rewarding experience. The company culture is supportive and collaborative, and I’ve always felt valued as part of the team. There are excellent opportunities for career growth — I’ve been able to work on diverse projects that have expanded my skills and kept my work exciting. Flexibility is another highlight, with remote work options and understanding management that make balancing life and career much easier. Leadership is approachable and genuinely invested in our success, offering mentorship and guidance that help us reach our potential. The environment is dynamic, and every project brings something new, which keeps things fresh and motivating.

Cons

Honestly, there aren’t major downsides in my experience. Like any company, there are challenges that come with project-based work, but overall the positives far outweigh them.
