      It makes a difference when your coworkers do care about your well-being. The organization allows you to set boundaries and take your sides of stories into consideration. RS is a calm and fun department to work in. Decent pay and benefit package/Cost of Living raise almost annually Training opportunities

      Promotions and career advancement tend to be slow, do not expect it to be like your average SF social service agencies.

      Only Place in SF Social Work Safe for Asian Employees

      Clear communication, mutual kindness and respect, totally treated me like a human being, which most ALPOC (or trans non-women) in social work or East Bay and SF can't say.

      Cons

      No fault of their own, pressured by corrupt city entities to kowtow to vitrolically hateful non-ALPOC employees and TERFs.
