Pros

Fast pace and relatively higher pay than average in Toronto market. You ll learn how to navigate a very ambiguous and chaotic landscape and this is very valuable.

Cons

CEO High turnover of management Company acquires new companies without clear ROI Poor morale Micromanagement from leadership (example: being told as an engineer whether to use a while or for loop… and this is told to you by no less than… the CEO) Poor engineering culture and personality cult « Engineers are expected to be vampires who work all night » Silent layoffs occurred in Q2 2026 with 100 staffs at least impacted in the US - due to M&A and AI uncontrolled costs

Pros

+ People are generally speaking nice + Catered lunches + Good socials

Cons

- Deeply political environment - Compensation isn't great (strong weighting towards equity as opposed to cash comp) which would be attractive if it was early stage company but not at the current valuation - EU office is very much seen as a satellite office in comparison to the US org -
