Business outlook
Pros
Majority of staff very helpful and want you to succeed. Long induction period to allow you to get the hang of things. Not very stressful compared to ward work. Very easy to swap a shift.
Cons
Management watch you like a hawk and definitely have their favourites. Reluctance to provide training for one aspect of the role which I found odd, justification given as "sure none of us were trained for it". Unusual viewpoint to have in this day and age. No premium given for unsocial hours, only premiums given are for sundays/bank holidays. Pay isn't great.
