Pros
Huge sense of autonomy and empowerment to solve problems, present solutions and healthy deliberation with strong trust and psychological safety between cross-functional team members to pursue the best solutions to progress design, tech and the business forward. An amazing office and hybrid-supportive working culture through the entire company. Great sense of self-leading ability & no barriers or bureaucracy in pursuing things you believe are the right thing to do. Founders will always start with trust, help provide context and are available to empower team members to go for it. Continuous improvement and growth mindset is embedded in the culture. Mixed variety of professionals, from big Aussie tech like SEEK and REA Group, through to consultants and construction-centric customer success team members - it blends a variety of backgrounds to represent many perspectives; ultimately leading to great products for customers. Founders value culture above all else, in a non-culty way. Strong sales team distributed around the world, with consistent quarterly/half-yearly team events whereby folks are flown to Melbourne HQ. Brings the best of big tech company culture, while leaving the bottlenecks and over-engineered process at the door. Highly talented team, great product growth consistently and growing into the US Market opening up huge doors. Run club and supportive working structure.
Cons
There are very few cons. Below are points that depending on personal preference, could be seen as unfitting to what you're looking for: We serve a huge variation in customers and this can introduce interesting challenges for product building to serve everyone's needs in the most elegant way. From a company culture, I see no negatives. Depending on lifestyle and personal priorities, some may feel that we are scaling fast. To me I see this environment as opportunity - it unlocks and allows for people to step up, step sideways, have broad experiences and ultimately flex into areas they may not otherwise get to experience at a larger company.
