      Poor management and frequent layoffs overshadow any positives

      Cons now overshadow what minor pros were present

      Cons

      - bad performance review/promotion cycles. - upper management/ product is very bad - you get laid off easily or endup with less hike or no promo and get told your work is not good even if project was doomed to fail from start because of bad co-operation from product and even if you still managed to deliver the project - they dont follow engineering practices , - code quality and developer exerience is very poor - company wide reorgs happen way too much - product team aint good, they lack direction - projects that come dont have requirements finalized but have deadline ( 22 days) finalized.

      Great coworkers, but abysmal management

      Pros

      - Such wonderful coworkers, I've been so blessed to meet & learn from very brilliant and kind engineers - Lucky enough in my 4 years at the company to have had great managers who genuinely cared about my career growth - Very interesting projects to work on

      Cons

      - Management is a mess, multiple rounds of layoffs in my time there and they still can't seem to learn from their mistakes. - They keep the same people around who just act as hype-men for the c-suite and other high levels - Company values raw metrics (code output, AI usage, etc) over anything else, just things for folks to be aware of if that's not your working style - No flexibility for the in office folks - It's beyond apparent that the top management of the company gives zero fuuks about the people in it, you can even see the CEO's useless tweet addressing recent layoffs which said absolutely nothing of use

      Good compensation and benefits Decent hikes.

      Cons

      Job security is not there.Brutal layoffs.They snatch laptops in front of ur colleagues. Management has unrealistic expectations on delivering things with AI. Dont have a vision on how to deal with AI. Low scale to work. Entire teams get layed off. Highly reliant on crypto conditions. No reasoning for layoffs
