BKCW is the best place I have ever worked! Managers are friendly and supportive, and our senior leaders and agency owners are in the office daily. It is not like a corporate job where you can't ask questions or provide input, you have the opportunity to speak with leadership at any time and they listen to you. They started a bonus program for every member that is 10-15% of our base pay this year, so that is a huge incentive for us. It is very achievable and a great addition to our base pay. I have also received very nice increases during my time here and know that leadership cares about me and the work I do. BKCW pays our whole premium for medical insurance, and contributes to our HSA accounts. We have a lot of social events, lunches, and happy hours, and they care about us as members of the team. It is truly a family-first organization and I am able to use flex time or work remote any time I need it to cover child care or anything else that comes up. I could not recommend BKCW enough to anyone who is looking for work in Central Texas. It is not just a job, it is a career. They invest in our insurance education and provide tons of training to make sure we are subject matter experts for our role. I have been here for 5 years and am so happy I joined BKCW when I did.
Cons
Every now and then we have a member who stirs up drama or likes to complain for no reason other than to be negative. I know there is one in every company, but we really like the people we work with here and pride ourselves on a great culture. Some people are just difficult or negative no matter what you do for them.
