Since I've started at the agency, you can tell that Affect really cares and values their employees, and their company culture is top-notch. They really want to support and help employees learn and grow while at the agency, providing many helpful professional development sessions led by both members of the internal team and outside professionals. It is a place where I feel comfortable going to almost anyone on the team to ask a question or seek their guidance. In addition to many company benefits like summer Fridays, team get-togethers, and 2 PTO days for volunteering, Affect has an extremely supportive environment and is truly a great place to work.
Cons
If you aren't well-versed in certain fields - it may take some learning and getting used to their client roster. But the entire team is extremely supportive in providing helpful background and ways to learn about the industries where their clients are if you haven't had much experience in the healthcare, technology, and professional services fields.
The Affect team really tries to make you feel at home here, and it's clear that Sandra cares about her employees. You'll work with some of the sharpest professionals in the industry who all want to help you achieve personal and professional growth. Great salary and benefits compared to many agencies and company culture is strong.
Cons
Excellence is a high standard and you'll definitely be challenged to take on abstract roles on your accounts. Most clients are lovely to work with but for some, managing conflicting priorities and changing directions in a split second is something you have to learn to accept. Since its a small agency your talents have the chance to shine through more, but you'll also be asked to do things you might have little experience in.
