Description When your Boeing isn't going, ExelTech Aerospace will get you back in the air. The company is a large North American aircraft-maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) service for the commercial airline industry. It inspects and repairs aircraft structures, refurbishes interiors, and installs and services electronic equipment. Customers include JetBlue, American Eagle, and Mesaba Airlines (part of Northwest Airlines). Founded in 2000, the company has expanded its repair facilities from Canada, to the US and Europe. ExelTech filed for bankruptcy relief in February 2010. Pemco World Air Services acquired it in May (terms of the deal were undisclosed), with plans to use ExelTech's assets to open a new US facility.
