Description Gwynedd-Mercy College (GMC) is a private Catholic school founded in 1948 by the Sisters of Mercy. It offers about 40 associate and bachelor's, degree programs at schools of allied health, arts and sciences, business, education, and nursing. The college also offers graduate programs in education, nursing, and management. GMC has an enrollment of nearly 3,000 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 13 to 1. In addition to its main campus, the college operates centers for life-long learning (as part of its business school) in Philadelphia and Fort Washington, Pennsylvania that cater to working adults.
