Big day in Baytown! 🎉 Baytown Waterworks Partners (a joint venture between McCarthy Building Companies and Carollo Engineers) is proud to join Baytown Area Water Authority and BGE, Inc. to break ground on Phase II of the East Surface Water Treatment Plant — a progressive design-build expansion that will double capacity of the current plant in the City of Baytown, TX. Together, we’re carefully expanding an active plant so Baytown can continue to attract new businesses, support growth and deliver reliable, high-quality water for the community. Huge thanks to Mayor Charles Johnson, Baytown City Council, BAWA board, Texas Water Development Board and everyone who came together to celebrate this milestone.
