Sun Healthcare Group shines its rays on nursing homes across the US. The company provides long-term, subacute, and related health care services at about 200 managed inpatient facilities in 25 states (totaling some 23,000 beds) through its SunBridge Healthcare subsidiary. SunBridge's facilities are primarily skilled nursing centers for seniors; it also offers assisted and independent living arrangements and behavioral health services. The firm's SunDance Rehabilitation unit provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy, its SolAmor division offers hospice care, and CareerStaff Unlimited provides temporary medical staffing. In 2010 the company spun off its real estate holdings into Sabra Health Care REIT.
