Alpha Associates would like to be seen as the alpha and omega of high-performance industrial fabrics, composites, and elastomers. The company makes and markets coated fabrics and laminates for a myriad of products, from marine insulation, welding fabrics, outdoor jacketing, to acoustical baffles. Alpha Associates also develops and manufactures specialty materials for high temperature insulation. Within its high performance elastomer (HPE) line, goods include flexible expansion joints for flue gas ducting, industrial belting, and gasket sheeting. Alpha Associates' plants are setup in South Carolina, Nevada, and New Jersey. The family-owned company is led by its co-founder, chairman and CEO A. Louis Avallone.
