Metal-centric holding company Superior Group makes and sells tubing products through its subsidiaries, Fine Tubes (precision tubing) and Superior Tube (small metal tubing). Its Sharp unit provides contract packaging services for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Superior Group companies operate from facilities in the US and the UK, where Fine Tubes is based. The company dates back to the mid-1930s, when it was established to meet the growing need for industrial tubing. Superior later performed a critical role in supplying metal tubing for Allied aircraft in WWII. Superior Group is owned by the Warden family, heirs of one of its founders.
