Our partner is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join their team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating advanced 3-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components across a range of industry sectors. Ensuring all parts are produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and meeting production schedules.
Role: CNC Milling operator (3-axis)
Reporting to: Production supervisor
Shift: Day Shift - (Monday to Friday) - 39 hours.
Required Qualifications
· Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Milling Setter / Operator is preferable.
- Experience with FANUC Controllers is preferable.
- Must have a good level of English language.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measurement equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines in line with programmed instructions.
- Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production work orders.
- Carry out routine preventative machine maintenance (TPM) to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring equipment, including verniers and micrometres.
- Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and settings to maintain required tolerances and product quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in compliance with company health, safety, and quality standards.
- Accurately record production information and promptly report any issues or deviations to the Production Supervisor.
