I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at mLevel (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
I sent in a LinkedIn “easy apply” resume submission. I believe it was the next day that I received an email from Matt Anthony. He asked that I schedule a 30 minute interview through the provided link to his calendar. Sadly, only 15 minute time slots were available, which was odd to me.
He called me at the scheduled time. We spoke about the position, and the interview was somewhat informal. He asked questions and I also asked questions back to him.
The overall process was kind of toned down, low key, and I expected it to be more of a high-energy interview. Most start up companies have that feel to it.
The salary range discussed is low (40k-50k) for a position that could change on a daily basis or even hourly basis.
The saddest part of the interview was the fact that he said I’ll notify people either way of my decision for the next round of interviews on ____ day. And he didn’t. That shows a lack of follow through and integrity. If you say you will do something, then do it. Even if it’s in an email!
Hi and thanks for your feedback. I apologize for failing to get back to you - as you said, it's not professional behavior and not the standards we hold ourselves to at mLevel. I have reached out to you directly via email to close the loop on the process. Again, my apologies.
