      Account Manager Interview

      12 Nov 2024
      Anonymous employee

      Positive experience

      Application

      I interviewed at insightsoftware

      Interview

The interview process is fairly straightforward; you start with a call with HR (standard screening process), move onto the hiring manager, and finally, panel interview/presentation. Presentation needs to highlight ability to handle objections effectively.

      Account Manager Interview

      26 Oct 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Munich, Bavaria
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at insightsoftware (Munich, Bavaria)

      Interview

Pretty fast video call witl local hiring manager after request from an internal recruiter. Personal intro and quick summary of business focussed on underlined revenue responsibility. Key interest in sales cycle management and forecasting capabilities. Absolutely legitime. However, zero empathy and qualifying questions seemed to annoy - incl. if the team hits quota and what's exoected from newbies. Decided to thankfully pull back my application.

      Customer Account Manager Interview

      16 Nov 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Raleigh, NC
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at insightsoftware (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2022

      Interview

Took about 5 weeks. I got a call within a week of applying for a phone screen. I then took an assessment online which was proctored, and I thought that was very strange. Then, I had two separate video interviews with leadership. Final interview was with the team itself and included a mock demonstration complete with PowerPoint and Q&A. It was an unnecessarily long process, the first two interviews could have been combined, and it took recruiting a week between interviews to schedule the next. Mock presentation was the most difficult/time-consuming part as it required some preparation and creativity, but this also gave me an opportunity to show off a little. Overall, the process was slow, recruiting was slow, and while I accepted the offer ultimately, I had seriously considered dropping out of the process.

      Question 1

Most difficult scenario I have faced at work, typical “what’s your 5 year plan” type questions. I was also asked what I like about this role and about past experience.
