The interview process started with an HR screening, and one of the first topics discussed was compensation. The recruiter clarified early in the conversation that the role has a fixed salary range. Given time to think about it
The conversation also covered collaboration with cross-functional teams such as compliance and customer support, as well as stakeholder communication. I was informed that the next stages would include a technical interview, followed by a take-home technical assignment and a presentation to the hiring manager. Communication throughout the process was clear and timely, and the overall experience was professional and well structured. She seemed interested in my skills, what happened later I don't know, better do research about Xapo otherwise

I applied via a recruiter, and I was informed that they are ONLY looking for native English-speaking candidates, despite many candidates like myself having a C1 level of English, who can comfortably work in English and have industry-relevant tier-1 experience.
This type of discrimination is very disappointing to see from a leading bank in our industry; I never expected this.
