I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wi-Tronix (Bolingbrook, IL)
Interview
After an initial screening call with HR, I met with the Head of Product for a 30-minute interview. The final minutes unexpectedly included a case study exercise, with no advance preparation time and no opportunity to ask questions. After the interview, I reached out several times for an update but did not receive a response for several weeks.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wi-Tronix (Bolingbrook, IL) in Jan 2024
Interview
3 Interviews both technical and non-technical. Two are with members on the engineering team and the third is the CEO. Every interview for this position was via teams. It is very useful to understand exactly what the company does before doing the interviews.

Question 1
They showed a picture of a specific PCB component and asked me what I think it does.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wi-Tronix (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2024
Interview
Fairly standard,
Phone Screen with HR/Recruiter (<30mins)
Technical Interview (Online - 1hr)
Onsite (Did not get to this stage)
I did not like how the online interview was done. Instead of using a platform like codility, they gave me remote access to a laptop via Microsoft teams to code. The input latency and bad picture quality made the coding a lot more harder than it needed to be.
The coding question was easier than a LeetCode easy, but poorly written, (Multiple parts, that change edge cases)
I think they wrote it themselves... They should use a better question or find a similar question that is better written from HackerRank or LeetCode.
The engineers I talked to were nice, but a bit dis-interested or just tired.
The process took very little time.
I think talking to the recruiter to interview was 1 week, and I heard back within 1 week of the interview.
