I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Berkeley, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
The manager called me after I had applied online. They were very professional and friendly. I went to the location and had the interview. It felt casual and laid back. We had it on one of the cafe tables outside. The Team Leader seemed to be deeply thinking of a lot of things while we were talking, but not in a distracted sort of way, almost an hyper-analyzing. We talked for about ten minutes, and then he got one of the store managers to talk with me. She was very nice and only talked for five minutes. The Team Leader returned, and said that she liked me. It was somewhat obvious that I was going to get a job offer. Overall, everyone was very relaxed and friendly.
I applied online. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Torrance, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very easy process. One of the better experiences I’ve had. A few standard interview questions were ask, but the rest was conversational for most part. Wasn’t stressful or anything like that.

Interview
A simple process of an initial screening over the phone with basic questions such as "when you can start" and "how do you plan on getting to and from work" and then meeting the supervisor in person to be interviewed with standard customer service role questions.

This interview was a very streamlined, efficient process. It was a typical behavioral style interview asking about reactions from various scenarios. The interviewer was very professional and respectful of my time and it didn't take more than 20 minutes.
