The interview process leads you to believe in the professionalism of the company. Needless to say, this is a temp agency. So results vary depending on the experience and contract with the different jobs.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me about my work history in full detail. It took up most of the interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Westaff (East Hartford, CT) in Feb 2023
Interview
One interview with "CEO" and another woman who didn't introduce herself or say who she was. They only asked one question and did not seem to care too much. The office was incredibly dirty and unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. It was also only staffed with young women with the only male being the "CEO" which is incredibly alarming this day in age and should be reviewed for inappropriate behavior. I was given an offer but when I asked for a few days to decide they immediately said, "We met someone else today and will have to rescind your offer". Extremely unprofessional and set off all sorts of red flags for the CEO Lou Corte and Manager Nicolette. The staff including the Manager Nicolette was dressed very inappropriately and not in a business manner at all. The offer also came with a contract to sign that was filled in with someone else's name from 2021. Overall this set off alot of alarm bells and I would be careful if you are applying here.
Interviewer was late and brought his kid. Saw him eating at the cafe with his kid when he was supposed to be interviewing me. Wanted to pay me a measly rate for doing basically his job.
