I recently went through the application process for the HR Officer position at West Coast Supply Group. I had two interviews — first with the HR team and then with the HR Manager — and also completed the required assessments. Throughout the process, I had a genuinely positive experience and felt there was a strong mutual connection.
Unfortunately, I was informed that the position was offered to another candidate due to what was described as a “better click.” While I respect that hiring decisions can be based on various factors, I was surprised to see the position reposted shortly after being told it was filled.
I would have appreciated more transparent feedback to better understand the outcome. Clear communication, especially after multiple interviews and assessments, goes a long way in maintaining a positive candidate experience.
