I interviewed at Vizient (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
The questions were very easy. Honestly, they were so weak that they couldn’t even ask challenging questions or properly manage the interview.
The next day, I went to their office, and they asked me to solve two basic problems. I knew the logic and explained the result, but I forgot the exact syntax for the subquery and join in the second question.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What's the difference between Observables and Promises?
Describe Oauth2.0 flow?
How do you set up a Spring Boot application?
What are SOLID principles?
I applied online the process took 3 week. I was contacted via email by the company recruiting co-ordinator to schedule a call with the IT director. 2 week after the initial call, a 4.5 hours virtual on-site technical interview with 4 different people in the team took place. I think I did alright but never hear back from them since then. A follow-up email was sent to ask about their decision but no response. I get that some candidates may not qualify for the jobs. However, they deserve to hear feedback or decision whether you move forward or not. Advice to the company: be professional & respectful to candidates. They spent their time & effort on the interview, they deserve to know the decision via an email not by being quiet.
