Interview
I applied on LinkedIn. The recruiter called me. We had a great conversation and he forwarded my resume to hiring manager. HM had just started his new job at Visa, so had to get his feet under him before interviews. Then I had a call with the previous incumbent who had transferred to a new job at Visa. Then they GHOSTED ME. Totally GHOSTED ME! Given that, I am glad it never progressed. I did not appreciate the dishonesty of their approach.

They asked all the normal questions. It was very disjointed and uncoordinated.
Good friendly 3 rounds of interviews. Recruiter, manager and team. first round was with the Recruitor as a fast screening the second round was with the hiring manager for more in-depth assessment of the role of my fit. The third round was with two members of the team to understand the role bit more detail and not what they did.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Kuala Lumpur) in Aug 2025
Interview
Good, The interview process was well-structured and engaging. It began with introductions, followed by behavioral and fit-based questions to assess cultural alignment. A technical case study was then shared to evaluate problem-solving and business acumen, before moving into an open Q&A session. The format allowed me to showcase both strategic thinking and practical execution skills, while also giving space to ask insightful questions about the role and the company. Overall, it provided a clear view of expectations and a fair opportunity to demonstrate my strengths.
