Face to face with the basic scenario questions involved. More specifically questions were asked about my resume. This was not the usual off the street interview as I was a contractor for some time prior. If my resume was not stellar there may have been more questions. In addition, my previous visibility made me a strong candidate for a placement that had to be made quickly. This company has been evolving to stay competitive in the economy so things may be quite different now. Overall, I would say there are no "tricks" during the interview as they do not want to waste your time or theirs. They are looking for good candidates.

Question 1
There was no unexpected question. Speaking about yourself can be tricky. Qualify or quantify your answers when describing results you yielded.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Arlington, VA) in Mar 2017
Interview
The interview process was very easy going. I met with 4 lovely ladies and did't feel nervous at all. It was a very personable interview and overall, I felt very comfortable with the process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Verizon (New York, NY)
Interview
They did not explain the position as it was supposed to be. It was no where near what they said. The position had much more responsibility and was a terrible position
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Aug 2014
Interview
I applied online. Three weeks later I received an email for a phone interview with their internal recruiter. Just went through my resume, why I left each job. The recruiter asked me how much I was making.

Question 1
None, the interview was very dry. They probably just scheduled the call to get my resume off their desk.
