Phone Interview with recruiter that led to a brief salary negotiation. Then referred to the PM for final interview prior to hiring. Was fairly straightforward and easy going. Would recommend the company overall.

Question 1
How much experience with EPEX I had along with active duty roles and tasks.
The interview process with VectorCSP was relaxed yet engaging, striking a balance between professionalism and candid discussion. The interviewer skipped the usual formalities and was upfront about the challenges—not just of the role itself, but also the hurdles VectorCSP faced in filling the position due to USERRA laws.
It was a one-on-one conversation with plenty of opportunities to weave in my background and ask thoughtful questions, reinforcing why I was the right fit. As a veteran, I appreciated the level of respect given to my experience navigating USAF squadron operations. While I had thoroughly prepared, I was glad the discussion flowed naturally without the need to showcase all my research.
Overall, the experience was rewarding—I walked away with more insight than I expected, making it a truly valuable exchange.

Question 1
Due to the nature of the position, the interviewer asked me to redo my resume to include my enlisted aircrew experience. Note: this experience was not initially highlighted in my resume since I only went back 14 years and not 20.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vector CSP (Maryland City, MD) in Dec 2022
Interview
Seemless. Interview was on time and conducted properly. It was more of a meeting than an interview which allowed me to also speak and ask questions. It went how I think most interviews are conducted.
