I applied online. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (New York, NY) in May 2026
Interview
Went through three rounds out of four. First round was with a recruiter who seemed very engaged and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Second round was with the CCO, who was several minutes late and seemed unprepared to talk to me (he paused the interview a few times to answer texts), but was generally friendly and made me feel like I was already part of the company. Final interview was with a manager, who was so late to the interview that Google booted me from the waiting room and we ended up starting ten minutes late. Despite nearly every interview not starting on time, they were at least prompt when they eventually sent their rejection email the following week. I would have preferred to go on to a final round and get hired, obviously, but the lack of organization and respect for my time confirmed the things I had been reading online and hearing from my colleagues about how unfocused this company and its strategy can be.

Interview
This is regarding one of the Talent Acquisition/HR team members based in Indonesia.
She reached out to me stating she found my CV in the talent pool and wanted to chat about a Senior Media Analyst role for the Malaysia office. On the very same day, she sent a calendar invite without first checking my availability. Despite the short notice, I managed to accommodate the call and spoke with her.
Two days after our conversation, I followed up for an update. I received no reply for two days, and then on Monday, she informed me that the role had been put on hold. It seems highly unusual for a role to be placed on hold within the exact same week it was actively scouted.
My main concern is the lack of professionalism in the communication process. When she wanted to initiate the chat, she was urgently chasing me, but once she gathered all the necessary information from my end, I was essentially ghosted until I pushed for an update.
Please look into this to improve your hiring process and candidate experience.
The whole process was a circus! After 4 interviews they sent an acceptance email and took it back because they suddenly don’t need it anymore but the position is still open on linkedin SCAM
