I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Universal Store (Perth, Western Australia) in Feb 2022
Interview
Initial 15-minute interview went well, asked a variety of questions about who you are/past work experience/your skills and drawbacks. Expected to be perfectly outgoing and 'intrude' on customers who have already said they would just like to browse, aggressive sales techniques, not an upbeat energy between employees
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Universal Store (Brisbane) in Nov 2022
Interview
Bizarre. They only do group interviews and don't tell you its a group interview before you get there. Then they have you fill out a paper application for 30 minutes. The last task is to improvise a selling situation. They promised to call back, even if rejected, and never followed through. Ended up ghosting.
